Who we are

We are the Barker’s, quirky by nature but full of love and life. We currently reside in an apartment but thrive towards land ownership to have our cattle ranch. As of now we are growing our homestead journey through community and learning skills needed for success. We invite everyone to follow along on our journey of learning canning, pickling, chicken raising (at our wonderful neighbors house), indoor container gardening, raised bed gardening (also in the neighbors yard), bulk buying meats and dried goods, thrift shopping and much more! We are turning our apartment into an adventurous land of homesteading trends and will tell you which is worth the spend and which isn’t!
